Our Basic Portable Batting Cage Gets The Job Done! 

We call it basic in that it’s the older traditional squared shape and does not fold or have some of the bells and whistles of our pro batting turtles but when it comes to getting the job done every day, there’s no sacrifice or compromise.

It ships partially assembled and the rest just needs a couple of helpers who can turn a wrench, some basic tools, and a 6-foot step ladder. You will have it together in about half of a Saturday and will not require any maintenance for many seasons!

The simple dolly transport system and a few players are all it takes to move it on and off the field every day.

This budget rolling batting cage is built like our D1 Foldable Baseball Turtle and has the same features, with two exceptions:

1. The Basic Portable Rolling Batting Cage model cannot be folded down
2. Its dimensions are slightly different at 18′ W x 12′ D x 12.5′ H.

The lack of foldability and slightly different footprint are the only things that separate it from our D1 Foldable Baseball Turtle.
The quality, net, and most parts and pieces are identical.

Coaches Note On High Wind Conditions:
If you coach in an area notable for high wind conditions think about rolling this batting turtle up against your backstop or at least a chain-link fence. Once positioned, either weave rope or have some good bungee cords close at hand where you can anchor it to your fence or other solid structure. You may have better solutions but considering the cost of these products, (and the ever-shrinking baseball budget), you will want to protect your investment! Nothing is 100% when it comes to mother nature but at least give it a fighting chance.
